The cover art is completed!  Eyes Like a Hurricane is available on Amazon for preorder this month for kindle. The paperback will be available for preorder in December. 

This whole process started as a challenge from my kids. They wanted to know if I could write a book and then with their help in brainstorming the names of farm animals, the Topaz Falls Series took off. I have now outlined 19 potential books for members of this small Montana community. If there is a particular character you hope to see after reading book one, let me know. 

Each book will take place in the following season, so the books are essentially back to back. If you want to see which six are planned for release in 2024, please check out my list of upcoming books.

These books are small town contemporary romances. Each one will be a different trope. This entire series will be open door with a mild amount of language. 

They may not have been part of each other’s plans…
But they soon realize they are each other’s futures.

Aislinn. She’s coming home. With an ex-boyfriend who refuses to let her go and a dog who wants wide open spaces, Aislinn runs to her home state. Having the dream of opening her own veterinary clinic, she jumps feet first into small town life, in Topaz Falls, Montana. What she doesn’t plan for, is a 6’4” rancher with eyes like jade or her ex doing whatever it takes to get her back. Never one to stand down from a challenge, Aislinn takes the situation head-on. She helps make the discovery of a lifetime, but in turn almost loses her possibility of a future.

Lachlan. He’s co-owner of Ambarsan Equine Therapy Ranch for veterans in Topaz Falls, Montana. While traveling to adopt a new farm dog in the Pacific Northwest, he’s hit by a hurricane when a chance encounter with a feisty brunette puts him toe to toe with her stormy gaze. She wasn’t what he planned on bringing home, but he refuses to live in a future where she doesn’t exist.

TIMELINE & PROCESS

The book is currently in round one of editing. On November 13, 2023 it will go to a copy editor. Then, on December 11, 2023 it will be sent to a proofreader.

I am in the process of getting it up on Barnes & Noble for preorder as well as an identification number from the Library of Congress.

Book 2 - Skye Full of Stars will be completed and ready for the editing process next week. The cover design artist is currently working on the cover, which will fit with Eyes Like a Hurricane is size and style.
